We launched AMIMOTO in August of 2012, over 5 years ago and a lot has changed since then. AMIMOTO began in Kobe, Japan, a port city which was also influenced our name and logo.
For us, AMIMOTO brand first represents the sea. With abilities to scale like the tide, adapt and continuously deliver. It also represents harmony among our other brands, Shifter, and Pilott.
Our goal when started was to create fast and easy to use Open Source AMIs on Amazon Web Services and provide Managed WordPress hosting products and we did just that. Today, we are proud to provide services for clients at home and abroad such as Mazda, The Japan Times, Crowdyhouse and more.
We’ve also expanded beyond the original Kobe location to offices in Tokyo, Fukuoka, Sendai, Nagaoka, and our newest and first office outside of Japan in Philadelphia.
With this relaunch, we’ve updated our pricing and plans. Now get CDN, SSL, and HTTP/2 with every plan at no additional cost. The way it should be!
To get started with our Managed WordPress Hosting products we now offer an updated sign-up process and billing tools so you can get started even faster. Our billing system is now backed by Stripe, the payment gateway millions of users already know and trust.
